Joe and Ken met in 1997 while working for a small moving company in California. Employed as laborers, they quickly became good friends. Over the next four years, they learned all aspects of the moving industry, including wrapping of furniture, packing, loading, estimating moves in cubic feet as well as by actual weight. Starting out with a regular driver�s license, they learned how to operate and maintain tractor trailers as well as standard moving trucks. When given the opportunity to do interstate moves in a tractor trailer, they jumped on the opportunity. For over three years, Joe and Ken teamed up, logging over 100,000 miles per year while picking up and delivering household goods. During this time, they educated themselves, learning pricing, fuel and highway taxes, and insurance requirements, etc., as well as excellent customer service. They learned that being honest and reliable in all areas of the moving industry would pay dividends in the future.

They purchased their first truck in 2002 and in 2004, decided to go it on their own. After researching the best location for their own moving company, they decided on Texas; centrally located and cost friendly! With the knowledge they had gained in the moving industry, as well as with help from friends, they created All Star Moving & Storage, Inc.

By the end of 2004, they were open for business in Round Rock, Texas. Fully licensed and insured, they were on their way.
